FAQ

We will be sending out the address to everyone who purchases a ticket to the event. There are only about 40 parking spots on the property, so we’ll need people to carpool or take a Lyft over to the property. You may want to consider parking at or getting off at the Lafayette BART, then taking a Lyft from there onto the property to ensure you don’t have to worry about parking spots. We’ll start a message board for those attending to use for rideshares, though we will not be monitoring it or guaranteeing a connection.
-
Yes! We’ll be taking small tours of the Shulgin lab, where Alexander (Sasha) Shulgin synthesized MDMA, MDA, 2C-B, 2C-E, and so many more.

The event will be catered by Hil’s Cooking, a popular small local business. We have ordered their “Taste of Osaka” menu, which includes Japanese veggie curry (vegan), salmon teriyaki (dairy free), grilled koji chicken (dairy free), beef yakiniku (dairy free). It also includes japanese bento salad with pickled plum dressing (vegan, gf), steamed rice (vegan, gf), sake roll (vegan, gf), sunamono (vegan, gf), and miso black sesame cookie (vegetarian). Please arrive closer to the beginning of the event to ensure you get a plate!

Unfortunately we cannot refund ticket costs for any reason. If you’re unable to attend, we’ll miss you, but we’ll make sure your donation gets put to good use!

The farm is located down a long road, and unfortunately is not very accessible. There's a small walkway leading up to the lab that cannot accommodate a wheelchair safely. Bathrooms will be porta potties, and one will be wheelchair accessible. Masks will not be required, but you’re welcome to wear one. The event is primarily outdoors, though part of it will be inside a large shed structure which may also be used if it's raining. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out to denisse@alchemytherapy with any questions

Unfortunately we only have a limited number of spaces for this event. While we wish we could invite everyone, the lowest we can go with ticket prices is a handful of sliding scale spots at $80 each. This amount covers the cost of the event, including the meal, venue rental, and entertainment.
-
Yes, children are allowed as long as they’re under close adult supervision.
-
No, psychedelics or other substances will not be provided at this event. Alchemy is a nonprofit therapy organization that offers only legal ketamine-assisted therapy with clients after they go through a thorough medical and psychological screening.
-
You’re also welcome to attend! Just make sure you buy a ticket. It might be helpful to talk to your therapist about what it might be like to see each other outside of the therapy room.
