Born and raised here in the Bay Area, after attending medical school in Havana, Cuba and completing residency in Internal Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, I am glad to be able to bring all that I have learned back to my home community. It feels so aligned to be able to do this with Alchemy Community Therapy Center.
Alchemy has a seemingly magical process of transformation and/or creation and community as fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
It is an honor and a privilege to be able to assist in providing quality mental health care and training to folks who have been impacted by social injustice.
