Laya Jamali is an associate MFT whose passion for psychology and the exploration of the deep psyche is deeply rooted in her genuine compassion for the human experience. Her journey in this field has been enriched by her interest in mythology, Eastern philosophy, mysticism, and neuroscience, all of which contribute to her holistic approach to therapy.
She holds a Master of Research in Cognitive Neuroscience and Brain Imaging from University of Birmingham, UK and has completed her MA in Marriage and family therapy at St. Mary’s college of California. Having completed a rigorous two-year training at Alchemy, Laya has gained valuable insight into the fundamentals of caring for individuals in non-ordinary states of consciousness. This unique training has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate the complexities of the human mind, while providing a safe and nurturing environment for growth and healing.
Laya's curiosity and eagerness to understand the inner and outer diversity that shapes people's lives informs her work. She firmly believes that each individual is composed of a unique blend of experiences, perspectives, and beliefs, and is dedicated to helping her clients explore and embrace these rich ingredients that contribute to a fulfilling and satisfying life.
