I believe in the pursuit of mental, spiritual, and emotional peace in service of our individual and collective development. I am a student of the human experience committed to the patient, honest, and non-judgemental exploration of our inner and outer worlds. I believe in the importance of understanding and accepting ourselves in order to feel secure and empowered in our lives and relationships.
I offer our time together as a space for you to experiment, reflect, unravel, and recollect yourself. Your therapeutic experience is a collaborative effort in service of your personal goals and emergent self-awareness. During sessions, we might explore topics including self-perceptions, feeling stuck, areas of growth, challenging relationships, extraordinary experiences, addictive behaviors, anxiety, dreams, isolation, and distressing thought patterns. One of my goals is to facilitate the development of your inner therapist so that you feel empowered to make self-affirming choices with clarity of intention and responsibility.
My passion for people-centered work has led to an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies alongside training and experience with substance use and suicidality. I am a middle-aged Black-American woman shaped by my experiences growing up in the Northeast and Southern United States. I have a strong connection to land and a love for the creative arts. I am passionate about my work and glad that you are here.
