My approach to therapy is creative and present. I root my practice in the framework of collective liberation. I value therapy as a space where there is room to feel and be felt, where relationship and the language of the body can become resources. I care for and am curious about what can emerge when there is space to explore. I am not so interested in making things go away but rather in hearing more of their story and perhaps in the process transforming. I am interested in putting life into context as none of us exist in a vacuum even when the experience is one of isolation.

So many things are therapy and it can take many forms. In working with me, I might use imagery or explore sensations. I will also actively engage. I value speaking as well as pause and take a holistic approach. Finding the process and pace that supports you is important to me.

I work with folks experiencing depression, anxiety, shame, grief, trauma and experiences of overwhelm, belonging, identity and marginalization. As well as those interested in pleasure and expression. As part of the queer community, I welcome these identities as well as those that fall outside of this. I appreciate helping folx and couples understand and expand their beliefs around partnership. I also have experience and a passion for working with families.

I am inspired and influenced by Black feminist thought, the natural world and the courage it takes to trust oneself.
