You may be at a point in your life where you feel persistent loneliness, fear, hopelessness, shame...or you may not feel much at all. You may be confused about why you keep making certain choices, or you may struggle to find meaning or joy in your life. Many of the symptoms that we suffer from originated as strategies to cope with overwhelming life experiences. These strategies allowed us to cope, but now they may lead to relational conflict and suffering. Therapy can help you make sense of the past, find relief from painful emotions, and develop inner trust, wisdom, and safety to help you navigate this complex and challenging world.

In session, I will listen deeply to what you share. When emotions come up, we will make space for all of them, even the ones that are unwanted. We will tread slowly into places that provoke fear or panic, attending to your body’s inherent guidance through mindful awareness. Together we will gain a deeper understanding of your identities, values, goals, and purpose in life. We’ll also identify effective strategies for confronting internal and external obstacles.

I practice from a lens of intersectional feminism, attending to power and privilege as they relate to racism, sexism, classism, ableism, and fatphobia. I have worked with individuals and couples across many backgrounds, particularly within queer and trans community, kink and polyamory, and exploration of racial and class identities.

A cherished personal therapist of mine told me, you can only take someone as deep as you yourself have gone. I’m a survivor of childhood trauma, and have been grappling with the impact ever since. In addition to therapy, I have found healing in nature, psychedelics, dance, relationships, and writing. I have a Master’s in Social Work from CSU East Bay and experience in gender healthcare, including surgery recommendation letters. I look forward to meeting with you!
